The Girls

Najin and Fatu are the last two northern white rhinos on earth — a mother and daughter living under 24-hour guard in Kenya. When they are gone, so is their species, unless science can find a way to bring them back through their preserved embryos.

This pair of abstract forms reflects on that fragile thread of survival — two lives carrying the weight of an entire species. Monumental in concept, intimate in scale.
