Three Wise Monkeys

Inspired by the Japanese pictorial maxim "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil," this series of three abstract forms distils a centuries-old principle into its simplest possible expression. Stripped of the familiar monkey figures, the forms ask whether the wisdom — or the wilful ignorance — of the proverb still holds today.
